Tactile Pavers
Tactile pavers are special pavers for visually impaired persons to guide them in getting around in public areas. Their implementation is regulated by BATAS PAMBANSA BILANG 344, an act by the Philippine government. Our Tactile Pavers are yellow with white cement and 20% pigment. Other colors are available.
There are directional and blister-type tactile pavers. Directional Tactile Pavers are used to guide visually impaired persons along a route when the traditional cues, such as property lines or kerb edges, are not available.
Blister-type Tactile Pavers are used to warn visually impaired persons when approaching hazards.
